Number two on our list is Alison Brie and Marc Maron starred Glow. Even though it is not widely popular as “Parks and Recreation”, Glow has some similarities with the former.
Glow can be a bit more inclined to drama than Parks and Recreation, but the similarity between Leslie Knope and Ruth of Glow is undeniable. Both reflect the image of glorious queens who carry on no matter what the situation is.
This show is based on the struggle of a group of female wrestlers. The plot is based in the 1980s Los Angeles where the female characters try to fight away the male-dominated industry and get a television show. Now comes the show directly from the producer of Parks and Recreation. Right after the end of our fav sitcom in 2015, Michael Schur brought out The Good Place in 2016. This show has a group of friends similar to Parks and Recreation and the storylines of the two are similar as well.
The cast includes strong actors like Kristen Bell. This afterlife story goes on with the characters trying to do good others against all odds. And of course, limitless humor and adventure are the essential elements here as well.

The thing is don’t underestimate the show thinking it’s some ordinary kids’ cartoons. Big Mouth is a cartoon for adults. This show revolves around the comical adventures of a bunch of New York kids entering into puberty.
