Founded in 2013 by three IIT Delhi alumni, Mayank Bhangadia, Avinash Saxena, and Kaushal Shubhank, Roposo was initially started as a branch of a gifting platform called Giveter.

Headquartered in Gurgaon, today it is India´s equivalent of Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram all combined into one. Roposo has cleverly positioned itself as a fashion-focused social network for women in the age group of 16-35 across India.

Roposo has already built a huge fan following amongst its customers. The fact that their growth has been largely due to word of mouth marketing and their user-generated content is testimonial of the quality of their product and service. With more than one million active users, it helps women by curating, customizing and updating their looks with various trends

The presence of many Bollywood celebrities, designers, make up artists, hair stylists, fashion brands like Biba, Vero Moda etc and bloggers has created trust and reliability amongst the customers. Customers also appreciated the ´Photo review´ feature where customers take a selfie with the bought product and offer their review on the site. Some minor complaints have been around the user interface experience, product pricing as well as quality and faulty delivery of items. Customer service can also be improved.
