Jattu Engineer’ is a clean comedy set in a backward village. The movie is from a new series of films, where Dr. MSG says he has tried to break the myth that it’s impossible to make people laugh without using double meaning dialogues. He aims at creating a healthy, wholesome comedy as he feels laughter is the best medicine and an antidote for many diseases.

The movie is set in villages whose inhabitants are lazy and drug addicts. There is a school, but no teachers. There is a small love story also interwoven in it. Real life has inspired parts of the movie. Swacchh Bharat Abhiyaan also finds a reference in the film.

The lead character in the film is MSG who plays the role of ‘Jattu.’  Jattu is a Rajput by caste, an engineer by education and comes to work as a teacher in the village. How Jattu helps brings about a change in the villagers, and the village is what the movie is all about.
