Alisha Pradhan is one of the top names in the Bangladeshi movie industry and is currently a television presenter and entrepreneur.

Alisha Pradhan was born in the capital city of Dhaka in Bangladesh. She was born in a rich family and received her education in Willies Little Flower High School and then Oxford International School and then Edexcel. Being grown up in an English environment, she had to take 8 months of continuous Bangla vocabulary training.

She started her modelling career in 2008 at an age of 14 and started her acting career by acting in TV commercials and Serials. Her first debut movie was Antaranga directed by the legendary late Chashi Nazrul Islam.

The movie was a huge success and earned her nomination for Best Actress and Debutante. Some of her prominent releases include 69 Patla Khan Len, Eito Bhalobasa, Bhul Jodi Hoy, Premer Kajol, Prabashini Don etc.

Apu Biswas was born in the Bogra district of Bangladesh on 11th October 1982. Her real name is Antora Biswas. She did a lot of short plays and modeling work during her college time.

And it was during a modeling session when she was noticed by Shakib Khan and for her first movie. She debuted with the movie Kal Shokale and the movie did well at the box office this bagging her more movies. Her next appearance was in Koti Takar Kabin. Jaya Maswood, well known as Jaya Ahsan, was born on 1st July 1972 in the capital city of Dhaka, Bangladesh. She was greatly interested in art from her childhood and hence has a diploma course in Rabindra Sangeet too! She did a lot of works before entering the acting sector. She was a very good dancer from her childhood and hence trained in the same for 14 long years in Bulbul Lalitakala Academy and Chhayanaut. Her journey in the media started as an actress in the television commercials from where she went on to act in various television serials and dramas.

Bipasha was born in Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arab on 23rd March 1971 and at the age of 49, she is currently the oldest Bangladeshi actress. She was immensely talented from her childhood and is a great painter, which fetched get Master’s in the Faculty of Arts from the University of Dhaka.

She was into acting from the late 90’s and acted on a lot of television dramas, many of which were penned down by herself. Her debut film was Aguner Poroshmoni which has her the Bangladeshi National Film Award for the Best Actress.

To date, she has starred in only two movies – Aguner Poroshmoni and Joyjatra – but has worked in a lot of television dramas. Some of her prominent TV dramas include Rupnagar, Harjit, Beli, Pratyasha, Dola, Hasuli, Kobita Sundar Na etc. Her painting Realms of Memory win an award in the 17th Asian Arts Biennale
